Where individual presentation formats are not fully accessible, alternative ways of accessing the same information are provided where technically and practically feasible. For example, information shown in map views is also made available in a list-based format.

booking.event-hotel-service.de has been developed as a custom-built solution taking into account the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz – BFSG) and is continuously being improved.

To implement accessibility requirements, we follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance levels A and AA. In addition, we consider the requirements of EN 301 549 for accessible information and communication technology.

At present, not all areas of the website are fully accessible. We continuously work to identify existing accessibility barriers and remove them step by step.

Implemented measures include in particular:

  • content designed to be as perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust as possible,
  • keyboard accessibility for essential functions,
  • clear labelling of forms and interactive elements,
  • support for assistive technologies,
  • alternative presentation formats for selected complex content.
